Why Wear Perfume

Fragrance can cause happiness, sadness, comfort, love, and more. When you are a child, you may not be aware that your mind can remember scents and fragrances.

You may have played outside one day on the first warm day of spring and you remember the colorful Daffodils that had bloomed and the Lilacs in the yard and how well it smelled.

When you got older and you smelled Lilacs it made you feel happy inside. Fragrance is everywhere and we can remember things from our past by just smelling something that was there at that time.

It doesn’t have to be flowers it could be your dad’s cologne or your mom’s perfume. Perfume has been around for a very long time and will continue to be around.

People buy perfume for several reasons but basically it is because of the way that it makes them feel. They may feel like they can do anything when they wear a certain perfume.

Perfume can set your mood for the day, it can boost your self esteem and it can allow you to feel good about yourself; you look good and you feel good.

You may want to wear perfume because you acknowledge other likes to smell a certain fragrance on you. You are also less self-conscious when you wear perfumes. For others, smelling perfume may bring a bad memory to mind that they didn’t want to remember.

The reason you have for wearing perfume is going to be different from everyone else. Perfume is a personal preference.

PERFUME - THE DOS

Some people wondered what the correct way to wear your perfume is. There are many tips out there on this topic; here are some of it:

1) Wear your perfume after bath. A fresh and clean skin will absorb your perfume better and thorough, thus making the fragrance last longer.

2) Quantity – not too much not too little. Remember your fragrance should attract people and make you feel good. Too much might make people uncomfortable, too little might deceit the purpose of you wearing a perfume. Weather and temperature also have effects on the scent. On the hotter weather the scent tends to last longer unlike during the cold weather, the opposite happens during the cold days. Due to this you might just want to use a little bit more during the colder days.

3) If you are using the splash type of perfume, use your fingertips to dab the perfume on the pulse points on your body, areas such as the wrists, behind earlobes and neck and chest. Blood runs nearest to the skin on these areas and warmer making the perfume diffused better. For spray type of perfume you might want to spray 2 or 3 times into the air and walk through the mist created. You could also squirt some on the pulse area.

4) People with dry skin won’t retain the scents longer then people with oily skin. If you have a dry skin you might want to reapply your perfume once or twice a day. Oils on the skin combined with the perfume oils make the evaporation process slower thus making the scent last longer. So be sure to keep one handy in case you need to reapply.

5) Give some time after applying your perfume before wearing your dress. Perfume has alcohol mixture it will dry faster unlike perfume oil. If you wear your dress immediately after applying your perfume, most probably you will rub some of it off preventing the scent to be fully absorbed by your skin.

6) Preferably use body product scented just like your perfume or of the same brand. Wear your perfume last to make your perfume scent stands out.

PERFUME - FACTS TO PONDER

The history of perfume oils can be traced back to ancient Egypt centuries ago while in the eighteenth century, the Grasse region of France uses aromatic plants in the making of fragrance and spiced perfume.

Today France is also well known for their perfumes industry (other then fashion), making it the perfume center of the world and it is marketed all over the globe.

People use to think that perfumes are made mainly of concentrated oil and alcohol solution; but as more people finds out about perfume oil, they are becoming more popular.

Facts about perfume oils:

1) Strength of smell - Perfume oils are highly concentrated. They are up to ten times more concentrated than you normal perfumes. This is what makes perfume oil to last longer than perfumes.

2) Body chemistry - Perfumes have alcohol which creates different smell effects. Perfume oils use carrier oils such as jojoba or grape seed oil in place of alcohol.

Though perfume may smells good on you, but that doesn't mean that the oil version will. Bear in mind that perfumes have only a small percentage of oil, whereas perfume oil in nature is more pure and concentrated.

The effect between the fragrance and your body may produce a different scent altogether. Moreover some fragrances will change smell as the alcohol evaporates in a long time where as for oils, the scent is more constant.

3) Price – Some perfumes are more expensive and have greater profit margins due to its popularity. Celebrities’ endorsement and creating their own lines of perfumes and colognes have also contributes to this.

Whereas perfume oils are sold very cheaply, but slowly the market trends are changing due to the current global economic and financial situation. We can see many entrepreneurs are coming up with their own line of perfume oils and creating wealth with it.

4) Packaging - Department store perfumes are nicely packaged making it a great gift and souvenir for friends and family. Again this is due to the celebrities’ endorsement playing a big role in marketing.

As for perfume oils some are sold in less attractive containers without any endorsement, which also contribute for their lower price.

5) Versatility - Perfumes are intended for use on the body to hide or cover body odors making the wearer more presentable. Unlike perfumes, perfume oils can be used to create all sorts of scented products, such as soap, aroma therapy candles, bath oils, air fresheners and many more to name few.

In short, the factors above worth considering the next time you ran out of perfume. Try some small sample first, it might suits you fine just like your branded perfume and may make it easy on your pockets too.

PERFUME

Due to the current global economic and financial situation we are going through, many are looking at ways to cut back on their spending. We tried to avoid spending on things, items and services that we don't necessarily need and for the things that we do need, we try to look for ways if we can get it cheaper.

A good example is perfume, it has become a necessity to many of us because we need to smell nice and look presentable all the time, but we are looking for cheap alternatives.

Do cheap perfumes exist?

The answer to this varies to individuals, but in many opinions perfumes oils are better alternative to cheap perfume. Just look around when you go shopping, you can see many vendor selling perfume oil nowadays.

It’s better to buy perfume oils as to buying cheap perfumes because perfume oils will give you better and last longer than of the regular perfume or cheap perfume you would buy for that matter.
Perfume oils are way cheaper than normal perfume and cost less than cheap perfume.
Perfume oils may last up to 6-8 hours because they don't have alcohol added which in the end will evaporate, it is just pure perfume.

Nowadays you can get perfume oils which smell just like those expensive designer perfumes. This does not considered as fake because a smell cannot be copyrighted; it's the brand that is copyrighted.

These are just a few reasons why you should consider buying perfume oil rather than buying a cheap perfume. You don't want to be buying a cheap perfume and be disappointed with the result at the end of the day.
